Annie Murphy to Present at Denver Smoke-Free Housing Forum

Whether Medical Marijuana is a Reasonable Accommodation

On January 28th at Noon, Annie Murphy will be presenting at the Denver Smoke-Free Housing Forum.  The topic for discussion will be “Whether Medical Marijuana is a Reasonable Accommodation.”  The Denver Smoke-Free Housing Forum is organized and facilitated by Denver Public Health in collaboration with Jefferson County Health Department. Established in 2009, the forum membership includes owners and managers of apartments, condominiums and multi-unit housing properties. Meetings provide an opportunity for folks to discuss and learn from their housing peers regarding how to pass, implement and enforce indoor smoke-free building policies. Health department staff sponsor and facilitate the forums, as well as provide information and technical assistance to forum participants. Landlords, property owners and managers are welcome to attend.  For more information or to register, contact Teddy Montoya at Teddy.Montoya@dhha.org.
