About Jon Burtard

Jon's practice focuses on civil litigation. He graduated in the top 15% of his class at Washington & Lee University School of Law where he served as Lead Articles Editor for the school's flagship journal. His experience includes litigation on behalf of, and against, large national financial institutions, involving complex financial products and billions of dollars of alleged damages. Jon has also advised, and advocated for, small businesses and individuals. After practicing on the Front Range, and serving as a Law Clerk to the Honorable J. Scott Hacker, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, he came home to Grand Junction in 2017.

A third generation Grand Junction native, Jon loves the outdoors and spending time with his family. He also enjoys Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
