ABOUT MADELEINE
When Maddie moved to Colorado from Northern Utah and went to the DMV to get her driver's license, the clerk behind the counter remarked that she should teach a class on filing documents. Maddie had meticulously reviewed and highlighted the required information on each document, making her visit quick and hassle-free. This attention to detail is the same precision and preparedness she brings to her legal practice, helping clients navigate the often complex and confusing legal system.
In law school, Maddie honed her precision by focusing her studies on civil procedure and administrative law, and by serving on the University of Utah Law Review, where she had a reputation for catching the editing mistakes that others missed. She had externships with the Public Lands Policy Coordinating Office of Utah, an administrative body in the Utah government, and with Scenic Utah, a nonprofit organization that advocates environmental issues to the Federal Highway Safety Administration.
Outside of the office, Maddie considers herself a lifelong student and a writer. She loves to read scholarly works, especially about history in general and the history of religion in particular. She watches birds, plays card games, and has a special affection for horror films.
