Meet Paralegal Brenda Stratton

Brenda Stratton has been a rock-solid member of our paralegal team since she joined Dufford Waldeck in 2018. Prior to joining us, Brenda spent 19 years working as supervising paralegal and office administrator for the County Attorney’s office. In addition to her years of experience, Brenda is a NALA Certified Paralegal. In her quest for continuing education, she recently trained to receive an Advanced Certification in Real Estate Principles and Land Use.

Her ability to multi-task while staying focused on the immediate priorities makes her invaluable support to attorneys Chris McAnany and Shelly Dackonish. Brenda loves to dig into research and pour over maps, but she hates filing paper! (That’s why her digital files are impeccable.)

Brenda leads by example and has been a patient mentor to new staff members. Brenda is a valued resource to staff on real estate matters, Utah courts, and local municipal procedures. Brenda loves working with the entire team at Dufford Waldeck and is thankful for the work-life balance the firm provides.

Outside the office, Brenda loves to travel and is looking forward to visiting with her dozen grandkids in her new 5th wheel and ATV. When relaxing at home, Brenda’s 105 pound Bernese Mountain Dog, Jaxon, is usually trying to snuggle in her lap.
