Spotlight on Staff - Andrea Templeton

Andrea Templeton is the backbone of the Estate Planning practice group at Dufford Waldeck. Joining us as a paralegal in January of 2022, it's a testament to her intelligence and poised personality that she's now the go-to person for matters from powers of attorney to probate. Andrea is an invaluable support to partners Barbara Butler and Lauren O'Dell, the team, and our clients.

Prior to joining us, Andrea spent five years working as a Courtroom Clerk at the Mesa County Courthouse. In addition to her years of legal experience, Andrea has a BA in Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and an Associate degree in Paralegal Technologies from Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington. She enjoys learning about new aspects of the law and appreciates the firm's willingness to provide training and mentors when learning new skills. Andrea leads with quiet confidence and is a patient mentor to newer staff members.

Andrea loves to travel with her dog, Olive, when out of the office. Any weekend you'll find them both adventuring in the great outdoors, backpacking, biking, hiking, or floating the river.
